All our transformers, auto-transformers and reactors comply with the 93/68/EEC Directive and thus bear the standard EC marking on each data-plate.
SUPERIOR QUALITY
Almost all of the various models of terminal strips mounted on our transformers are designed by us exclusively and the plastic material used has the V0 flame-retardancy classification (UL 94 rating under US regulations).
This guarantees the non-flammability of the terminal strip, also if flames are generated on account of an over-voltage or loosening of the strip itself.
The contacts are produced in annealed brass and are subject to electrolytic processing to ensure perfect tin-plating.
HIGHLY ACCURATE TESTING PROCEDURES
In many cases the high inrush current flowing into transformers makes it necessary to adopt protective systems that are not always suitable for the security of electrical systems.
In 2006 we introduced a laboratory testing system, which, by switching on and shutting down various times the power supply to the transformer, can identify the maximum value of inrush current.
This innovative system allows us to expand our knowledge concerning the operation of our transformers and thus ensure maximum reliability.
